The conflict between Israel and Hamas is also being waged in the media. Propaganda, photo manipulation, and disinformation are flooding the internet. But how can fake news be recognized? CSI editor-in-chief Dana Nowak offers helpful tips in this online seminar. She also spoke with Philip Volkmann-Schluck, senior foreign policy editor at the daily newspaper Die Welt, about the work of journalists in times of fake news and media transformation, as well as the challenges faced by media users in the face of information overload (interview pre-recorded).
