Heartbeat International is the world's largest network for pregnancy support. At the annual Heartbeat conference in April of this year, five leaders of various organizations were honored for their dedication to this work, some spanning decades. One of the awards went to Israel.

One of the award recipients is Sandy Shoshani, National Director of the Israeli aid organization Be'ad Chaim, which collaborates with Christians Standing with Israel . Be'ad Chaim provides mental and material support to women experiencing unwanted pregnancies. Shoshani began her career as a pregnancy advocate somewhat reluctantly in 2005 by distributing pro-life brochures. Just one year later, she launched "Operation Moses," an aid program that provides counseling to young mothers and supplies them with baby equipment and various vouchers for everyday necessities. By the beginning of this year, more than 3,600 mothers had been helped in this way, and more than 4,700 babies had been saved.

The other recipients of this year's award are Allan Parker (President of the Justice Foundation), Betty McDowell (former Vice President of Services at Heartbeat), and Raul and Chris Reyes (leaders of Life Equip Global and Life Network).
