When Jews from all over the world immigrate to Israel, they hope to arrive, to come home. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean they are arriving in a peaceful country. The war is a heavy burden for them right now. The Jewish Agency provides help and support wherever possible. For years, we, as Christians Standing with Israel (CSI) financially supported the Jewish immigrant organization and want to offer assistance that is especially needed now.

The Jewish Agency is Israel's immigration authority. It organizes and oversees the immigration process of Jews from around the world to Israel (Aliyah). Within Israel, it provides long-term support to specific immigrant groups through various integration programs. These particularly vulnerable groups now require special assistance in the second "war within a war" against the Iranian regime within a year.
Although most rockets fired from Iran have been intercepted so far, some have landed on Israeli territory. In Tel Aviv, a woman was killed in an attack on an apartment building, and a 102-year-old man fell on his way to a bomb shelter and died shortly afterward. In the deadliest Iranian attack to date, nine people were killed and dozens injured when a ballistic missile struck the bomb shelter of a house in Beit Shemesh.
Our long-standing partner organization, the Jewish Agency, has specifically asked us for support with the following issues:
- Immediate aid for the victims of the Iranian attacks – the injured, evacuees and bereaved – as well as support for longer-term therapeutic rehabilitation
- Food parcels for the residents and those receiving care at the state-funded Amigour retirement homes
- Resilience programs and therapies for new immigrants, especially children, young adults and families in the Aliyah centers
The situation is serious, and the worry and hardship of the people in Israel are increasing. Let us stand together with Israel by supporting the Jewish Agency with our donations so they can provide practical help on the ground. Every donation is welcome!
