In mid-March, hundreds of Jewish refugees from Ukraine arrived at Munich's main train station. Their care had to be ensured at short notice. Thanks to donations to the "SOS Ukraine" relief effort , Christians Standing with Israel were able to react quickly and support Jewish partners on the ground with €15,000.

Stanislav Skibinski, the representative of the Israeli immigrant organization "Jewish Agency" in Germany, expressed his gratitude for this assistance: "On behalf of everyone involved, I would like to formally thank you for your timely and extensive support in providing for the Jewish refugees from Ukraine!"

Thanks to the donation, Jewish families, primarily women and children, were provided with food for several weeks. The meals were prepared, in part, by the children's mothers and grandmothers. The large number of refugees posed a significant challenge for the city of Munich, Skibinski continued. For the Ukrainians, the priority was to ensure basic food supplies as quickly as possible.

“Many refugees of Jewish background therefore turned to the Jewish community, in particular the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria and us, the European Janusz Korczak Academy e.V., as well as the Jewish Agency for Israel, to quickly obtain help, advice, accommodation, and food. The federal government and local authorities need time to ensure the refugees are provided for. Until that point, we are very grateful to have been able to provide for these people with your help.”
