CSI Business

Economic relationships are based on mutual trust and build bridges of understanding and friendship. We aim to foster this through CSI Business by connecting German and Israeli entrepreneurs and executives.

Entrepreneurs and executives standing alongside Israel

Like all CSI work areas, CSI-Business operates under the motto "Being a Blessing Together." We want to offer a platform so that entrepreneurs and executives can network with Israel on a business level and thus be a blessing to Israel and the Jewish people.

Economic relations are based on mutual trust and build bridges of understanding and friendship. As Christians standing alongside Israel, we see promoting and strengthening these relations as one of our special duties, alongside many other valuable services.

In Germany, we can learn a great deal from Israel's inventiveness and innovative spirit. Even though Israel is a small country and finds itself in an extremely challenging geopolitical situation, it has developed into a beacon of groundbreaking technological achievements, especially over the past 30 years.

The whole world benefits from this – every day. The density and number of Israeli startups – young, innovative companies with entirely new products and business models – is particularly remarkable. No other country in the world raises more venture capital per capita for startups than Israel. Despite its high defense spending, Israel has the highest research and development budget worldwide, relative to its economic output. The largest US corporations rely on strategic technology hubs in Israel to work on their latest inventions. For several years now, all major German car manufacturers have also had a presence in Israel, working to further develop the future of mobility.

These are just a few examples that demonstrate the economic and technological benefits Israel brings. We can participate in these benefits through cooperation and investment, and CSI-Business aims to provide an open platform for this. CSI-Business's goal is to connect entrepreneurs and executives in Germany and, through its extensive partner network, to bring them together with the business community in Israel – for mutual benefit and to strengthen friendship and solidarity.

The 5 pillars of CSI Business:

1. Lecture services and public relations

Many business leaders in Germany view Israel as a crisis-ridden country that poses too great a risk for potential collaborations. Through lectures, workshops, forums, and panel discussions at conferences, trade fairs, and even in local communities, we aim to demonstrate that the unique opportunities far outweigh the risks. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in presentations on the topics of "Israel as a Startup Nation," "Israel's Economic Miracle," and "What We Can Learn from Israel's Entrepreneurial Spirit.".

2. Networking in Germany

Here, we aim to connect entrepreneurs and executives in Germany who are open to business relationships with Israel. The first step in this networking process is subscribing to our CSI Business mailing list, through which we regularly, approximately every three to four months, provide information about interesting events and news from Israel.

3. Networking with Israel

Through our diverse and extensive network within Israel's unique business and startup ecosystem, we enable entrepreneurs and executives to take their first steps in networking with and within Israel. We bring over ten years of experience in building collaborations with Israeli startups and established companies to this endeavor. We are happy to provide our support and guidance.

4. Business trips to Israel

An email, a WhatsApp message, or a video call is often the starting point for building a business relationship – something that works wonderfully informally in Israel. But nothing beats a face-to-face meeting in Israel – cooperation is based on trust, and that can only truly be built on-site. Moreover, it's fascinating to see the innovations and inventions of Israeli companies firsthand. Therefore, CSI Business, together with its local partners, also offers specialized trips for entrepreneurs and executives.

5. Support for sustainability and development projects

Israel faces enormous challenges in the face of constant threats. Entire villages need to be rebuilt following the Hamas massacre of October 7, 2023, and schools and kindergartens need to be restored. Furthermore, there are many vital projects without which the State of Israel, 50 to 60 percent of which is desert, cannot sustainably provide for its population. These include projects in the areas of water supply, vegetation management, and the agricultural use of deserts. Here, entrepreneurs and executives can make a difference through financial and conceptual support. At the same time, valuable expertise can be shared.
