The Arye Shalicar Autumn Tour

Arye Sharuz Shalicar was born in 1977 to Persian-Jewish parents and grew up in Berlin. In 2001, he emigrated to Israel, where he initially completed his compulsory military service. He then began studying International Relations, Middle Eastern Studies, and European Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. From 2009 to 2016, he served as the official spokesperson for the IDF, and since 2017, he has been the head of the International Affairs Department in the Office of the Israeli Prime Minister. Between October 7, 2023, and the end of 2024, he was reactivated as a reservist and spokesperson for the IDF. He writes regularly on current political and social issues and is a sought-after expert and commentator in the media. His daily podcast, "Middle East Powder Keg – War Report from Israel," has reached over 8 million listeners since the end of October 2023. His other publications include "A Wet Dog Is Better Than a Dry Jew" (2010, filmed in 2021), "100 Wisdoms to Master Life" (2021), "Diary from Kherson" (2023) and "Survival Struggle" (2025).
