Israel Academy

The Israel Academy

Becoming an ambassador for Israel with heart and mind.

The topic of Israel is of great interest to many individuals and communities. Yet few manage to acquire comprehensive information. The need for fundamental biblical teaching, theological reflection, historical knowledge, and political education is enormous. Such a multi-perspective and thorough engagement is, however, the only way to arrive at a responsible stance toward Israel that can also stand before God. This is where the Israel Academy comes in.

Our mission

We are working towards encouraging thousands in Germany to stand up, discover Israel and position themselves where God stands: on Israel's side.

What our participants say

The Israel Academy was a real asset to me. It not only broadened my theological perspective, but above all, it touched my heart. Some of what I learned will have a lasting impact on my ministry.
Kai Flottmann, 43 years old, senior pastor of the FCG Bayreuth
The Israel Academy is doing exactly what I've long wished for: it's bringing my vague, half-baked knowledge about Israel to a better understanding. The interactive exchange among the participants is so helpful and enriching. Thank you so much, so much is clearer now!
Pia, 46 years old
The Israel Academy with Tobias Krämer has put my understanding of salvation history into the proper light of the Bible. The individual topics about Israel, Jesus, and the role I am allowed to play in it all fit together like a large puzzle. Furthermore, I can't imagine a better teacher.
Lucas, 23 years old
I've been looking for something like this academy for a long time. All the seminars and conferences I've attended haven't given me what I experienced with Tobias Krämer in just a few Zoom sessions. It's a real blessing. Everyone should check it out.
Wolfgang, 73 years old
The Israel Academy is a unique opportunity for me to gain a biblically grounded understanding of Israel and, consequently, the connection between the Old and New Testaments. Many "aha!" moments are inevitable. There's also ample time to ask questions and exchange ideas. A truly excellent concept.
Isolde, 51 years old

The concept

The topic of Israel is vast and complex. Therefore, we have developed a training concept:

The basic level

Understanding Israel – for everyone:

10 evenings (75 minutes each)

in 5-6 months

On-line

Solid foundations

for beginners

Refresh and readjustment

for established friends of Israel and pastors

We meet online on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. for ten 75-minute sessions. Newcomers will acquire a solid foundation. For pastors, elders, and experienced friends of Israel, the course serves as a refresher and for in-depth study, providing an overview as well as orientation.

Alongside the course, we will be reading Tobias Krämer's book "The Israel Project" together. This book condenses the knowledge gained from years of study and presents it in easily understandable language.

We read, listen, exchange ideas, and discuss. In this way, we lay a solid foundation and develop our own prior knowledge to maturity.

The advanced stage

Become an ambassador – for all those who really want to know:

In-person seminars

over 4 weekends

On-line

12 seminars

Requirement

Basic level, then entry in March and September of each year

Flexible study pace

Courses are spread over 2 years

The advanced level consists of four in-person weekends and 12 online seminars spread over two years. After completing the basic level, enrollment is possible in March and September of each year; furthermore, the modular structure allows you to choose your own pace of study. The content is presented at a scientifically rigorous level, but no prior knowledge is required! If you are eager to learn, enjoy collaborative research, are open to dialogue, and are keen to explore new subject matter, then this is the right place for you.

The final step is the creation of a "service philosophy." This is a tool that, with guidance, will help you develop the vision and strategy for your personal mission to Israel. As an Israel ambassador, you will continue to receive support, mentoring, and coaching from us, if you wish. Furthermore, you are invited to join our network, from which you can benefit and become an asset to others.

The Bible at the Center:
For Christians who stand with Israel, the Bible is central. The overarching goal is to impart and develop a biblically grounded understanding of Israel. For us, what matters is God's relationship with Israel. In doing so, we will also discover the reformatory power inherent in the topic of Israel.

The 20th Century
Of course, the 20th century cannot be omitted: the founding of the State of Israel, antisemitism, the Middle East conflict, international law and the United Nations, as well as "Israel today" are thoroughly examined. Because knowledge is necessary to form sound judgments.

The Service Philosophy:
The advanced training (advanced level) concludes – if you wish – with the writing of a service philosophy statement. This statement also includes a personally developed strategy outlining your understanding of your mission to Israel and how you intend to fulfill it. Afterwards, you will be listed with us as a newly appointed "Ambassador for Israel."

  • Entry is possible in March and September of each year
