We are deeply saddened and concerned to witness Israel being subjected to a strategically executed rocket attack of unimaginable proportions. As Christians, Germans, Europeans, and global citizens, we take a clear stance: We stand with Israel and categorically reject all forms of terror.
The phrase "Never again," regularly heard at memorial events, is no longer sufficient. It is high time to develop from this phrase an inner conviction, moral strength for the present, and clear action plans. This applies not only to Germany's relationship with Israel, but also to German domestic politics and society. The fact that Israeli flags are being burned, synagogues attacked, and Jews subjected to hatred in Germany these days fills us with shame and is unacceptable. It is time to act! "Never again" must make a tangible difference in the present. In the here and now. In the present moment. "Never again" is now!

We hope, pray, and fear for a swift resolution to this dire situation, for which Palestinian terrorist organizations and their puppet masters in Iran are solely responsible. We recognize the right and the duty of the State of Israel to protect its citizens from these indiscriminate rocket attacks targeting civilians and residential areas.

The transfer of German tax money to the Palestinian Authority must be stopped until it is proven beyond doubt that this support is not continuing to flow into "martyr pensions," supporting terrorism, and promoting the murder of Jews and bloodshed in the Middle East.
NOW IS THE TIMEfor Christians to take their stand with Israel. “Your people will be my people and your God my God!” (The Bible, Ruth 1:16) Where Israel suffers, we suffer too. Where Israel is attacked, we are attacked too. Where Israel needs our support, we stand actively and in prayer with our elder brother, with the Jewish people and our Jewish fellow citizens.
Our prayers also extend to the innocent people in the Gaza Strip. We pray for their liberation from the hands of those who oppress their own people, prevent Gaza's prosperity, misuse foreign aid, and strive for the annihilation of the Jewish people.
