Our mission
“Share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house. When you see the naked, clothe them […]. Then you will call and the Lord will answer you; you will cry for help and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you let the hungry find your heart and satisfy the needs of the poor, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your gloom will be like midday.”
Isaiah 58:7+9-10
Questions for us
The Daily Bread project aims to provide people in need in Israel with sufficient food so they can live their lives with dignity.
Families in need often suffer from hunger. If children do not receive sufficient and healthy food, their risk of illness and developmental delays increases. Furthermore, their ability to concentrate at school suffers. Inadequate education, in turn, makes it more difficult for them to find gainful employment. This creates a cycle of intergenerational poverty. Our food parcels help to combat hunger in families.
Those registered with the Social Welfare Office can take advantage of the offered hot meals and food packages. This ensures that the assistance actually reaches the intended target group.
